Reliable, easy to use webhost?

I%26#039;m starting up a small business and have been researching web hosts for my site. I don%26#039;t know anything about webhosts, so I%26#039;m not really sure what I%26#039;m looking for. I%26#039;ve seen a lot of options at or around the $7/ month range, so I%26#039;d like to stay in that category. But I need one that%26#039;s fairly easy to use. I%26#039;ve got a good amount of overall computer knowledge, but building a website is something I%26#039;ve never done and I%26#039;d prefer to not have to buy one of those expensive programs to do so.

I was about to sign up w/ HostMonster (it seemed to get good reviews online), but then I read somewhere that it%26#039;s difficult to use. Anyone agree or disagree with that?

I%26#039;ve also heard that the Yahoo web host isn%26#039;t that great.

Thanks for your help!
Reliable, easy to use webhost?
It kind of depends on how we define %26quot;difficult%26quot;... all the web hosting companies use similar interfaces... cPanel for web server settings, phpMyAdmin for databases, etc.

If you%26#039;re looking for one where you can get a site up and running without having to build it %26quot;from scratch%26quot;, doing all the design work, then look for one that has the Fantastico auto-installer. With just a few mouse clicks, you can have your own site based on a content management system like Drupal, Jooma, WordPress and a lot of others... and once that is up and running, adding pages to your site is not much more difficult than putting a question on Yahoo Answers... it%26#039;s all in your web browser.

The service I%26#039;ve been most happy with thus far is HostGator... excellent tech support, even for the highly complex questions coming from this software engineer.

Reply:We used gate.com for several years and were extremely pleased with their service. We created our little site with FrontPage, which made it easier, but you don%26#039;t have to.

Good luck.
Reply:some of the web hosts offer you facility to design your website online, you should check if the web hoting package includes such a web design feature. However the templates offered may not be of exact liking or fulfilling your needs, this is where the web design softwares are needed. You can find a few freeware web design software, as Seriff%26#039;s Web Plus 6, Coffeecup HTML, Amaya web editor etc.

You can also try using googlepages free websites to practice web design

Reply:If you look for web hosting, don鈥檛 rush into it. Read reviews about web hosting and decide properly before going ahead with web hosting.

I personally will recommend you a web hosting which many people find it very reliable. It is hostmonster.

Before deciding to sign up hostmonster, read the reviews and stats about hostmonster at the following website.

Reply:HostMonster is popular because of the big disk SIZE it has. But it%26#039;s not so hot in terms of support, user-friendliness, and stability.

Go with HostGator. I use it now. Very easy to use interface, very reliable and the free site builder comes in handy so I don%26#039;t have to code my own website.

Reply:Hello! I suggest you also check My Webbie Hosting%26#039;s Business Plan. It only costs $4.95/month, but it already includes 15 G disk space, 300 G bandwidth, 100 email accounts. etc.

you said this is the first time that you%26#039;re going to build a website. You might also want to check this plan%26#039;s Site Studio. Just customize the 70+ templates provided. Check the link below for the template designs.

You also said that you are looking for a host which is easy to use. I suggest you check the customer%26#039;s control panel demo of My Webbie Hosting and see if this will be easy to use. I provided below the link to the control panel demo.
